Bought to use with some old Turtle Beach X11 and Xbox One S headsets Works as hoped with good audio and mic. I had to unmute it in the Xbox menu and a high-pitched beep came through the headset, so I only gave it four stars. I'll update my review if I find out that the cable isn't responsible for the noise. Note: The X11 requires external power supply via USB, which I connected to a portable phone charger.

I bought this to adapt my Logitech headset to my Xbox1 controller. Xbox only uses auxiliary devices for their headsets so this converter worked great allowing me to still use my nice Logitech headset (the chat headset I had was for chat only so the game audio didn't get through and I had no optical sound for my sound or hdmi) . Now I have sound and can use chat on my console. The sound is great and the microphone works great. CHEAP SOLUTION INSTEAD OF SPENDING 100 THICKNESS ON A NEW HEADSET!

This is a cable 'splitter' so not much to say. I like that the connectors are metal so it feels more durable. Just to clarify "splitter", this is not a typical splitter. It works fine on my motorola g7 power android phone and dell laptop to connect a pc headset. Nothing to say except that it works as advertised. Connect a microphone to the pink jack. This product looks very good on the product page but looks a bit cheap upon receipt due to the use of inferior materials for its relatively high price. What looks like nice shiny blue metal parts turned out to be cheap plastic. So I'm concerned about its functional longevity. However, the product works perfectly after 1 week of use. I bought two of these adapters because according to the listing they allow me to 1) send a microphone signal to a device like my iPhone and also 2) allow me to use separate headphones for the monitor. The stereo headphone output worked normally (ONLY IF USING A STEREO HEADSET - WILL NOT WORK WITH A 3-PING MOBILE HEADSET).
