I bought this to adapt my Logitech headset to my Xbox1 controller. Xbox only uses auxiliary devices for their headsets so this converter worked great allowing me to still use my nice Logitech headset (the chat headset I had was for chat only so the game audio didn't get through and I had no optical sound for my sound or hdmi) . Now I have sound and can use chat on my console. The sound is great and the microphone works great. CHEAP SOLUTION INSTEAD OF SPENDING 100 THICKNESS ON A NEW HEADSET!
