I have decided to bleach my hair (29 inches - Asian virgin hair) and purchased this product to try to minimize the damage from bleaching. I mixed this fixative with a mix of bleach and developer and I think it definitely helped keep my hair strong! This is probably also due to the hydrolyzed wheat protein in the product. My hair wasn't stiff after the bleaching session and still felt healthy and dried out, sort of like if my hair was virgin. The only downside is that I used the whole bottle in 1 bleaching session because my hair is too long and thick, but that's not a problem! Bleaching Tip - Make sure you meet your hair's protein or moisture needs! If your hair needs strength or becomes stringy, limp and sticky, be sure to add protein masks, shampoo, conditioner, etc. to your routine, and if your hair is breakable, dry and frizzy, use a moisturizer instead. After you get results, alternate using protein and moisture to balance your hair's needs.
