I needed a bigger monitor because my eyes tend to get smaller with age! Easy setup out of the box. I simply plugged in the base, used the included HDMI cable to connect to my laptop, set the native resolution, and set up Windows 10 to become my primary display. I use a laptop because it's compact and the battery is a built-in UPS in case of a power outage. When I travel, I just take it and go. The monitor is clean, bright, no dead pixels. The colors are very saturated in the default settings, but there are many tweaks and tweaks that I can explore later. The speakers are weak and tinny, but I wasn't expecting much. I don't play games so I can't comment on that. Max refresh is 75Hz but display is fine at 60Hz by default for my laptop. In general very satisfied!
