WOW! This little guy did a BIG JOB!

So I live in Texas. About 2 weeks ago in mid-February 2021 we had the worst winter I have seen in my 49 years. Typical heavy snowfall and cold week for my friends up north. But nothing in Texas is prepared for 8 inches of snow, 5 days of single-digit to youthful temperatures, and sub-zero wind chill. We don't even have clothes for the occasion. Usually between 58-75 at this time of year. ... We haven't even seen real snow for 5 or 6 years. It's rare, usually 1.5 inches, and usually lasts a day or two at 25-30 degrees. Half the state lost power for 4 days in a row including me. Pipes froze, burst, houses flooded, cars accumulated in the city, someone literally froze, and someone is still collecting pieces. I'm from the last Our septic system froze and I still haven't started it. This is a 2000 gallon 4 tank system, an aerobic system. The pump has failed, there are no plumbers and the local supply of plumbing has been destroyed. Our system was full from flushing the water lines when we didn't realize it wasn't turned on and refilled. I need an auxiliary pump to drain the system from the gray water tank. (For those who don't know, this is chlorine-treated sewage with no solids but little sludge.) No dirty water pumps have been found, and they cost under $160. I've searched AMAZON like a shot in the blue hoping the Prime item might be here quickly. I tried this little pump for $20. She worked like a champ, pumping out the system for hours. It still works great. I use it to keep my house running until a plumber comes and orders a new pump. You will see in the picture that I have a piece of netting firmly attached to the bottom in case there is anything significant in that water. I connected a cable to the handle to pull it up. I sent it where I had no idea what was down there and it just keeps pumping! Whenever I need to clean the system after washing, doing the dishes or bathing, I just plug it in. She's still in the abyss. This saved us because in rural America there are no laundry mats or bathrooms close by to walk to. This little green machine effortlessly does the work of pumps that are 5 times the size and 10 times the price. I don't know how long this will take, but a week costs money and we're starting with week 2. Get one!
