Started stopping pumping after 4 months

I've been using this pump about once a week for 4 months now. It began to shut down automatically and stopped pumping while still fully submerged. After a random time (a few minutes) it will restart. I'm assuming it's an "auto-off" feature, but it does it when it still needs to pump, and the auto-off feature will never stop the pump when it really needs to. This makes them a very unreliable pump when you need to pump out some water. I think it's only a matter of time before it breaks completely

Decent pump. Not automatically.

Pumps pretty well and is pretty quiet. Good pump for the money and form factor. A pump is required to remove water from the overflow pan. BUT, to clarify a few things, it is NOT an automatic shutoff in the sense that it will turn itself off when there is no more water. NO. It has a protection circuit that will turn off if it runs dry and gets hot. Most submersible pumps will burn out if they run dry, this one feels like it's going to burn out and stays put until it's cool enough to run again…

WRONG description +

1. Capacity HE 330 gph. Maybe half. Therefore it is NOT "strong power".2. "MAX. LIFT HEIGHT” 6 ft. isn't it. It's more like 6-8 IN.3. Received only 2 small suction cups and NOT 4 as advertised and they slide off easily. I had to weigh mine. Bu.4. The cable is NOT 5.9ft long, it is 5ft long. So if you're not using this pump in an aquarium, expect to get electrocuted, plug in an extension cord, or spend more money on a waterproof device via a connector plug. Therefore "Long cable for easy…

WOW! This little guy did a BIG JOB!

So I live in Texas. About 2 weeks ago in mid-February 2021 we had the worst winter I have seen in my 49 years. Typical heavy snowfall and cold week for my friends up north. But nothing in Texas is prepared for 8 inches of snow, 5 days of single-digit to youthful temperatures, and sub-zero wind chill. We don't even have clothes for the occasion. Usually between 58-75 at this time of year. ... We haven't even seen real snow for 5 or 6 years. It's rare, usually 1.5 inches, and usually lasts a day…
