I've been using this pump about once a week for 4 months now. It began to shut down automatically and stopped pumping while still fully submerged. After a random time (a few minutes) it will restart. I'm assuming it's an "auto-off" feature, but it does it when it still needs to pump, and the auto-off feature will never stop the pump when it really needs to. This makes them a very unreliable pump when you need to pump out some water. I think it's only a matter of time before it breaks completely and then I'll be forced to buy a replacement pump if it inevitably fails. It also appears that the flow rate is grossly overestimated. I've had pumps that were rated for a lot less power and could pump a lot more water than these. I strongly recommend buying another pump.
