Bought for embroidery. This kit is amazing and contains everything you could possibly need, but the quality doesn't allow me to recommend it even to a beginner. The threads are of poor quality, they tear so much that threading is impossible. You can tell how much cheaper it is along with DMC yarn by the fact that it frays, curls and has no sheen. The needles are thin and begin to bend after a few stitches. The organizer itself is pretty durable to me and the coils inside are nice thick plastic. I will happily use them again and the little vials that the pens and needles came in will stay nice too. The scissors are good and seem sharp enough (only cuts the thread but that's all they are for and cuts it well). If you want this for friendship bracelets or other crafts that don't require stringing, then it will likely be very valuable and very useful. The delivery time was very reasonable and the seller seemed very accommodating.
