The metal plug/strainer in my kitchen sink is going through a slow and painful demise. You know where everything seems fine, but the water is slowly flowing down the drain. I now have the screens in place and these plugs are large and flexible enough to fit over the screens and hold the seal to keep water out of the drain. The little handle works, but I prefer to lift the rim instead, which is an easier way to break the seal and lift the cork. To be honest it's just a regular drain plug. The price is good, the product seems strong enough to get the job done, and they're big enough for any drain (except those with pop-up plugs).
