Revainrating 5 out of 5

PRE-BATH = Soak your hair in tap water and always wear a bathing cap

After swimming at the YMCA for an hour a day, 10 days a week without a hat, my normally soft, silky, very straight hair felt, looked and acted like I'd tried everything I had at home to to fix it. coconut oil. Argan oil etc. Changed shampoo. Sigh. the pool and that the YMCA pool has a lot of chlorine because it is used so much. She washed my hair, put one of her products on it and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. but anything but normal. So I called her and she said to do 3 things: 1) - Buy and use ONLY chlorine removal shampoo until my hair is back to my expectations. (In December nothing was available in local stores so I had to shop online.) 2)- PROTECT my hair in the pool by soaking it in tap water in the shower before swimming in the pool (because hair is like a sponge). 3) - Then put a bathing cap on wet hair to protect it from chlorine as much as possible. Although my hair has improved a lot, it still seems coarser than I would like it to be even after using this product. ” this product because it almost completely restored my hair to its normal smoothness - even more than any product my hairdresser has used. Each application brings my once normal silky hair closer. Maybe I can swim again in the spring. UPDATE: January 2nd 2020 Finally washed my hair with just my regular shampoo - pic added (pic without curls - my hair is in the worst condition). My hair is noticeably better, but not quite back to my normal silliness. In the "after" picture (click the photo to see full size) my hair curls beautifully, which I couldn't get after swimming at the YMCA.
