I looked at a couple of thick seats and these looked the best because: 1) they were the cheapest 2) a lot of people complained about the spring suspension Cloud 9 .makes squeaking or clicking noises and where the spring connects to the seat is the weak link that breaks. This chair uses a segment of rubber ball for suspension3) there were no complaints about the non-standard rails and seats. It fits very comfortably on the mountSeat. The original camping seat became unusable after 10 miles. That's even good for the 22 mile trip I did today (within, around my community due to social distancing). The seat is very quiet. Looks well made. Does not attach to the base like the others. The seat material is not slippery. The descent takes a bit of getting used to, but it takes a day or two to get used to and it's ok. Mounting it to my 1" rail mast was an easy task. I would buy it again if I needed it for another bike.
