Long exposures = battery hogs
As a shutter button to remove the camera, the thing works great, I like that I just have to hold the shutter button when the camera is in long exposure mode to get a long exposure, so useful for the astrophotography. But the receiver eats batteries when you're doing long exposures, usually I can only do about 3 nights of astrophotography without a battery before it gets too weak to keep the shutter open in bulb mode. Also a rare battery type. If it had a battery indicator or used a more common type of battery that would be ideal.
