Review on πŸ”Š Fosi Audio BT30D: Bluetooth 5.0 Stereo Audio Receiver Amplifier for Home Outdoor Speakers & Subwoofer by Amy Peterson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great option for a 2.1 system!

Replaced a 4 year old SMSL Q5 Pro with a BT30D amp. It's hooked up to my desktop computer and connected to an 8" OSD Audio PS88 subwoofer and a pair of Micca MB42X bookshelf speakers. SMSL was overkill although I liked all the connection points. I just need something that plugs into my Mac Mini's headphones. connector and has the best quality. This BT30 does a great job. Love the fact that it can drive a passive or active subwoofer. I enjoy building my own speakers and it gives me more room to tinker. Problem receiving signal to subwoofer when connected to Mac. The signal was ok via Bluetooth. Working with Carlos from Tech Support, we determined that my cable was defective. After the replacement, it works great with either connection method. I particularly like the way it connects to Bluetooth sources. No passwords. Just select and play. Anyone can turn on the switch in the office and play whatever they want from their phone. The sound quality and power output seems better than the SMSL and the power adapter doesn't sparkle when you plug it in! (problem with SMSL) I don't miss the remote as it's right next to the computer keyboard and my phone is the remote when playing from that source. Great product, great price. Good support. I strongly encourage you to consider the BT30D as a no-frills, audiophile-quality amp.
