Sounds good, looks good, feels good but get a decent power supply

I was pleasantly surprised at how loud and good it sounds. My old Onkyo is louder, but I never use it at a volume that doesn't ring my ears. The thing is still pretty loud. Louder than I need. It has good sound quality. The bass from the main speakers is a little less than my Onkyo, but not by much. The subwoofer fills this in, albeit with a slight change. On the other hand, it has more high frequencies. It's very clean and sounds great on my Polk Audio speakers and subwoofer. It has controlsโ€ฆ

Fantastic quality for receivers and amplifiers

This little receiver performs exactly as you'd expect. I use this for my office desktop setup, connecting two 50w Sony bookshelf speakers and a 60w 8" Monoprice subwoofer. Combined with (finally) reliable and ultra-fast Bluetooth 5.0, the device's connection is stable across all bands used. (I can walk around the house and keep in touch, although I don't have to.) The EQ controls are a godsend (not common on other Bluetooth receivers), as is the ability to adjust subwoofer settings (volume andโ€ฆ

Seems to get the job done

Only used a few times so far but seems to live up to my expectations (I'm sure nobody expects it to be compared to a Carver amp!) . I don't notice any strange humming, hissing or distorted noises. Being able to run the subwoofer independently from the satellites is great (I like deep bass but not overpowering/booming bass). Bluetooth has to be connected manually each time by opening the phone's Bluetooth settings and selecting Fosi. IE will not automatically connect to a previously pairedโ€ฆ

Great option for a 2.1 system!

Replaced a 4 year old SMSL Q5 Pro with a BT30D amp. It's hooked up to my desktop computer and connected to an 8" OSD Audio PS88 subwoofer and a pair of Micca MB42X bookshelf speakers. SMSL was overkill although I liked all the connection points. I just need something that plugs into my Mac Mini's headphones. connector and has the best quality. This BT30 does a great job. Love the fact that it can drive a passive or active subwoofer. I enjoy building my own speakers and it gives me more room toโ€ฆ

  • Out of fashion

Music is a big and daily part of our lives. Since we don't like to overload the system in the living room just to "brighten up" the sound in the kitchen area, I kept a small (homemade) 18+18W amplifier and Minimus 77 speakers on the fridge for years. . It was connected to the living room system via a stereo audio isolation transformer and a Bluetooth receiver with an audio switch. Ugly, but it worked and sounded good. After the recent renovation of the kitchen and living room, a nicer solutionโ€ฆ
