Easy to use for meat
I use it to check the temperature of meat, mainly poultry but also roasts. It turns on when you open it, which is handy. I haven't checked the calibration yet. I highly recommend testing all thermometers by immersion in ice water and boiling water, bearing in mind that altitude changes the boiling point of water.
