Take that from a bass player who loves deep, delicious bass - this thing delivers some of the cleanest bass I've ever heard. It's not necessarily the IN YOUR FACE RATTLE YOUR HOUSE bass (but it definitely can be if you crank it all the way up. In that case, enjoy!) It's a natural sound profile that's just there. It's both subtle and significant. You "feel" it the same way you hear it, which to me means you get very clean low frequencies. I think a lot of people's perception of good/strong bass is a bit tainted because it's usually correlated with everything rattling the hell out and contributing to the "bass" hiss. I'm not saying it's a bad thing per se, it's just that the sound that comes out of this thing combines a lot of both the "feel" of the bass and the sound of the bass because it doesn't distort is. It's hard to describe but it's a great experience. This makes sense if you're familiar with the classic Bose sound profile from other Bose speakers, which emphasizes clarity and clarity of sound. So, but for bass. And that's great. Wireless works great. Setup is very easy. I've paired this with a Bose 700 soundbar and you have to go into the app, click on the soundbar, go to settings and then "add an extra speaker" or something. It's not added or configured in the application in the same way as the soundbar, which is what I expected. I put it in the corner of the living room with the TV and soundbar in the middle. I was concerned that the bass would audibly come from the corner and not sound balanced in the room, but I didn't care. Because it's such clean bass that feels like it's heard, directionality wasn't an issue and it sounds fantastic. It just overlays that nice, rich bottom end over an already nice soundbar profile. The combination is great. The build quality is fantastic, the thing feels solid and reliable. The appearance of glass and metal is very clean. My wife said that at first glance it looks like a high end trash can. (we have white) I can't say I totally disagree, but I think it looks very nice and minimalistic. It's easy to hide under a bedside table or next to a sofa or chair, and it's always out of sight.
