The buttons on my original key fob are badly worn and I wanted to replace it. At first I thought I needed a complete key fob that would need programming until I saw this. When I ordered it I figured it would need to be programmed as well until I received it. As soon as I opened the package I saw that it was basically a sleeve, which wasn't bad because it was exactly what I needed. I removed the top of the original key fob as it was worn and replaced it with a new case. I didn't use the back just because it didn't have the GMC logo on it. For the price it was worth it. If you just want a clam, save some money and go get it!
