Plenty of space below. The bed is firm and doesn't make any noise; Even when my 2 year old hopped and jumped mad at it lol. A whole mannequin (me) can build me this bed! So easy and only took half an hour. I always take my dad to pack, but I don't need help. I highly recommend it. Recommend Big Baby and up. No small children as it is quite large but it is durable for storage.
