Review on DUOMEIQI 1600MHz PC3 12800 Non ECC Unbuffered by David Estevez

Bought this 2 x 4GB memory upgrade to help my 10 year old Asus UL30VT. It was equipped with 2x2 GB, a lot back then, but not anymore. What convinced me to do this update was that the resource monitor was showing memory usage near the 4GB limit. When this happens, the computer resorts to something called the paging file, where it writes memory to and from the hard drive to keep up. This significantly slows down the computer and increases the load on the hard drive. Now my laptop is noticeably faster and the RAM used is above the previous 4GB limit most of the time, suggesting my guess was correct. An excellent investment, especially considering the low price. My laptop got a new life! What drew me to this particular company was their well written review and the overall impression that they genuinely care. This has also been noticed by other reviewers.
