When trying to start the reel I lost about 10 inches of tape because the tape broke halfway through the reel. The edges dissolved. ", but the tape in the center of the roll stuck and tore like it was old and brittle. I ended up having to cut the roll with an exacto knife to get a fresh, square starting point. I finally went deep enough up the roll to the point where the tape started to unwind evenly. From this point the tape worked fine. Next time I need packing tape I will look for better quality.
