They appear to work well. I didn't really need to check them. There were no instructions for her. But I quickly looked up the video on the internet and it was easy. For cotton I used interlining layers. 1 layer interlining on the wrong side of the fabric. Then 1-2 layers of felt. Take your ripper and cut two small slits in all of the layers that line up with the shrimp. Insert into the pads and clamp. all together. It looks like a bandage! On the blue photo you can see that I didn't use felt and inserts. And you can see it through the other side of the cotton. The first photo is what it looks like from behind after everything is done.
