Thing is brilliant
This was clearly designed by people who cook and it works just great. The lid is designed to rise when you reach for a pinch of salt and fall back when you remove your hand. You're never forbidden to take salt, you never need a second hand to unscrew the lid, you never have to look for a lid that you threw somewhere while stirring with your other hand. I wouldn't mind a slimmer wooden lid and hinge for the price, but the functionality of this salt shaker is so superior to other salt shakers that I won't give it a star for that.
