Not long enough for our front door

I knew my front door was 36" and was the same size but I should have ordered 38". Although it covers the bottom of the door, it's not long enough to cover the two vertical edges. That's exactly what was ordered, seems well weighted. The black picks up quite a bit of dust when opening and closing the front door, but maybe I'll make a longer lid in a different color to solve both of my problems. Good product at a good price.
