After extensive research, I decided on this set. I found they weren't as absorbent as Walmart's Better Homes brand. I have found that I have to walk through the same area 2-4 times with the Wal-Matt brand. It feels like the water is spilling, not soaking. I have experimented over three showers. I would wipe one side with this towel and the other side with a Walmart towel. Walmart won outright. One swipe with that towel and I felt wet. One swipe with a Walmart towel and I'm dry. Also, I didn't notice any difference in softness between them. I was about to return them until I found out I had to pay 8.50 (or 33%) shipping to get the $22 back. While it probably sounds finicky, I have a chronic illness and little extra energy. So these things are important. I prefer "one and done" to "2, 3 or 4 and done".
