These towels are non-absorbent! Nothing on my body stays dry after using towels. I'm terribly disappointed in them. The best I can do is donate them to the local animal shelter. I was confident when I checked the reviews, but I can only understand that the reviewer and I received different towels.

When I received them for Christmas they were rough and scratchy. I was a bit disappointed but thought I'd give them a chance anyway. I put them in the wash and they came out softer than I've ever felt! They're thick and fluffy, won't leave lumps of fabric, and the color never fades. ATTENTION: After drying, check the lint filter! These things piled up in a drying rack for several months.

If I thought I could return them I would. I've been trying to research towels hoping to find towels that are absorbent. These towels are a wonderful colour, they are very soft, they appear to be of good quality but they have that odd coating (I don't know what it is) that comes across on annoying towels - when you're trying to wipe wet skin, they only smear. move moisture around instead of absorbing moisture. So I have to rub even harder and longer to dry. upset.

I love these towels BUT I gave them 3 stars because if you don't have a sewing machine and can't sew the edges you can't be happy. I washed them once and the seams came undone. I had to hem every item I bought. I still remove old seams from time to time after washing. If you sew and want to take the time to hem them, good towels. update date. Bought June 2017. I was really hoping I would like these towels. I love the colour, the size and the feel of the material which is why I'm giving them two stars but I'm so disappointed with the quality. As soon as they arrived I put them in the washing machine cold as recommended. After drying on a gentle setting and low heat, each towel had threads that I had to cut in several places. After extensive research, I decided on this set. I found they weren't as absorbent as Walmart's Better Homes brand. I have found that I have to walk through the same area 2-4 times with the Wal-Matt brand. It feels like the water is spilling, not soaking. I have experimented over three showers. I would wipe one side with this towel and the other side with a Walmart towel. Walmart won outright. One swipe with that towel and I felt wet. One swipe with a Walmart towel and I'm dry.
