The fabric wears out too much when cutting.
Very limited usability due to fraying at the cut - the fibers are stiff, stick out and pierce everything around them. The only way to get around this is to use it in very heavy fabrics or to wrap the raw edges with very stiff heavy duty tape which gives a lot of bulk to the ends. I've even tried singeing the cut edges and this creates blobs on the ends of the fibers that prevent them from sticking out but still add volume and the fibers still stick out in all different directions - hard to control.
