I wanted a simple veil for my wedding. David's bridal shop sold their veils for $$$. I didn't want to spend all that money on a veil, I felt it would draw attention away from my dress, so I decided to make it myself. I bought a soft sparkly tulle to use with this horsehair braid and it turned out perfect! I got sooooooooooooo many compliments. It was also very easy to use/make. It ended up taking me maybe 30 minutes. So much money saved and I was much happier.

Very limited usability due to fraying at the cut - the fibers are stiff, stick out and pierce everything around them. The only way to get around this is to use it in very heavy fabrics or to wrap the raw edges with very stiff heavy duty tape which gives a lot of bulk to the ends. I've even tried singeing the cut edges and this creates blobs on the ends of the fibers that prevent them from sticking out but still add volume and the fibers still stick out in all different directions - hard to…

This is a great price and quality. I ordered 50 meters. I added this to a full formal dress. When I was done, it turned out I didn't have much left. I measured the dress and used up about 10 yards (30 feet), measured the rest and I was left with 14 yards. This equates to about 24 yards, not 50 yards. I called Revain customer service and since I couldn't go back and change the order, they offered a $10 credit to my account. I'm happy with the decision, but you can review your order upon receipt.
