I bought this to use on a hot Vegas summer while working from home and to keep the air conditioner from running too often. I also use it when I go to bed as I can't stand the heat at night and it's a great alternative to constantly turning the AC on and off. Sometimes he works in the bedroom with the door closed, keeping the room cool. Not very loud unless it's very close to your face. When I'm in the same smaller room he's working in, I forget about him, even though he's working so quietly. This is a plus for the charger as it only has a USB connection cable. Very light and easy to carry from room to room or anywhere. Convenient to travel with a bag.
