So maybe something died somewhere in the ceiling of my basement. On Monday he started smelling faintly and by Tuesday afternoon it was a terrible story. We looked everywhere, tried to go by nose, but since there are no walls it has to be in the ceiling, so there's no way to get there because it's a tongue and a grove. This meant putting up with the stench until it finally stopped decomposing and drying up, so I ordered this medium with very little certainty, so little that I ordered an ozone generator the day before. I had to keep my money. We were down there this morning (Friday) and the smell in the ENTIRE basement was almost completely gone. Not only the horrible smell of death, but also the smell of damp and mold, or the usual happenings in the cellar! I'm telling you, this little powder sachet doesn't look like it's going to do anything, but I put it on a plastic sheet on top of a box in the middle of the room just to see what happens and I'm pleasantly surprised! I definitely plan to get more of these bags and place them in other parts of the house that might cool down (teenage sons' room where the dog, which is one of them, sleeps!)
