Review on ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Accurate Monitoring: AcuRite 01096M Temperature & Humidity Station with 3 Indoor/Outdoor Sensors by Jean Donjuan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My top choice versus two other popular devices

In this review, I compare the Acu-Rite device to two other popular 3-sensor devices. Acu-Rite, VivoSun, WA54 All devices have 3 sensors All devices are battery operated, Acu-Rite requires AA batteries which are not included. Acu-Rite was the most accurate because one sensor reading differed from the other two. This is the only system that allows calibration, WA54 and Vivo-Sun cannot be calibrated. If battery power is lost, calibration is lost and default values are set. RANGE: I got all three devices over 300 feet away from the sensors and all three were able to see clearly from that distance. The photos show that all three devices experience errors in accuracy when sitting on the table. They should all read the same, outside/inside and humidity percentage, but you can clearly see the variable reports. All sensors and the station were stabilized for more than an hour before readings were recorded to ensure they were stable. All base stations could be read clearly and with high contrast from low lateral angles of incidence. All devices operate on a single battery for more than 12 months. My clear favorite for the combination of accuracy, clarity of display, information. was/is Acu-Rite. I recommend the Acu-rite system by a wide margin over others.
