Very nice collar, looks great on my orange tabby. The fish reflect the light very well and the collar has not yet come loose on its own. The stripe with the fish is some kind of rubberized material, maybe that's why the collar is tight, especially coming off the map. I worked on it with my hands and it softened before putting it on the cat. It hasn't been stiff since the cat wore it for a few weeks. The reason this collar gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because the part that folds in half (between the clasp and the leg used to determine the size of the collar) doesn't prevent the double part from doing so to open and form a loop. This is a safety issue, especially if you have a small cat. This has not been a problem with any other collar my cat has used but as this collar is longer than all others the loop is much larger. As this is a large, adult cat that is kept indoors only, the loop isn't a huge issue, but it's important to consider when making your purchase.
