I finally received the collar after a late delivery. The collar is very cute but the "one size fits all" principle doesn't apply to my 4 month old kitten/cat who weighs 5lbs. It will grow over time and I look forward to putting it on her.

My cat is the queen of collar loss. Usually the safety latch is too loose, resulting in the loss of many collars. However, this collar lasted several months. The clasp is very strong but not so strong that I think there would be problems if it snags on something. It's also a very cute print.

This collar may be cute but not at all secure. There is no bracket to attach either side which is attached to a plastic buckle. This allows for a very large collar loop that doesn't hold anything together. I use a rubber band as a keeper, which seems ridiculous, but I needed something to keep the large loop from snagging on a limb or cat's claw. I was afraid that my cat would get tangled up in the sling and not be able to free himself.

I bought this "medium blue" collar for my cat a few months ago and have just ordered a second red one for another cat. It's a bit stiff but fits well and doesn't seem to bother my cat at all unlike his last collar which he wanted to run away from when I tried to put it on. The safety clip also looks better and more secure than other collars I've tried so it doesn't keep falling off (but does fall off when it should). I bought a black collar with white fish for my gray tabby bi-color cat and it suits him really well. The fish are reflective and clearly visible in the light of searchlights and a flashlight. Very nice collar, looks great on my orange tabby. The fish reflect the light very well and the collar has not yet come loose on its own. The stripe with the fish is some kind of rubberized material, maybe that's why the collar is tight, especially coming off the map.
