Excellent piece of furniture, fairly easy to assemble. We have 2 corner tables (420474) and love the style and color. The "wood" is multi-colored, so if it's damaged, it's easy to paint it with furniture handles and make the wound go away. ) about 3/4 inch above the table. If you intend to install it right next to the table, it will look a bit weird. We have this between the tables and there is about 10 inches between each piece so the symmetry makes it look good. but it's still a mystery why the mating pieces aren't the same height. We bought it to use as a printer stand and also for storage. We have a large Cannon multifunction printer and as it's too big for a printer stand the printer seems to be a more normal size. There's also a (cheaper) printer stand, but we decided it suited us better and we're very happy with it. One disappointment is the file drawer's weight limit. The hinges are strong, but the drawer bottom isn't strong enough. It's reinforced, but only once from back to front. This allows you to put an entire stack of paper on each end of the drum without getting too close to the support post. File hangers can probably hold more weight because the "walls" are strong, but the spec is around 20 pounds. A file box of this size should be able to hold at least 50. My intention was to keep my variety of paper, labels etc in it for easy access when printing, but I had to choose a subset and only use about 1/4 boxes. Come on pissed. the paper is heavy, whether it's hanging in a folder or lying on the bottom of a drawer.
