Review on Microsoft Xbox Series Bundle, Shock Blue by Janis Janis ᠌
The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.
In spite of the release of the Switch Pro Controller, the Xbox gamepad remains my go-to controller. Unfortunately, when I used it to replace the gamepad for my Xbox One, it didn't have the same "wow-effect" that the original controller did. One gets the impression that everything has been revived, with some minor adjustments made where appropriate. In sum, I am quite pleased with the acquisition and confidently endorse it.
Pros
- Simple setup, portable design, newly added "share" button, and reassuring rumbles all score high.
Cons
- I had driver issues when I first connected to Windows 11, and I'm not sure if it was because of my history of using different gamepads (mb conflicts) or what, but the connection would frequently disconnect, sometimes in the middle of a game. Removing everything and starting over on a fresh device (using a bluetooth whistle instead of a dongle) worked.
