We bought this unit for a 2013 Land Rover Discovery. It is easy to install with the access code 0000 and works immediately. The audio quality for phone calls isn't perfect, but it works well enough. My husband couldn't get it to work on his phone but as the main driver of the vehicle he was working on my phone so I wasn't worried about that. A few months later (and an iPhone update) it mysteriously stopped working. When trying to connect to this device, the message "Device Error" appeared on my car's display. It drove me crazy, I tried all the troubleshooting tips but to no avail. In case anyone else has the same problem I thought I'd share what I found out. When your phone connects to this device, it will automatically launch iTunes (Apple Music app?) and start playing the downloaded track. If you haven't downloaded iTunes along with at least one downloaded song, you'll get a "Device Error" every time you try to connect. I haven't used iTunes in a long time and my phone was low on storage, so my phone automatically erased it. Since iTunes failed to launch to play the same annoying downloaded song, a "Device Error" message appeared on my device's display. Once I reinstalled iTunes it works properly again. This fix also worked on my husband's phone. A little annoying, but it actually works.
