FINAL: OK, I went ahead and used a card reader upside down with a tight fit. With 2 cards it worked. When I inserted the third data card, I was told that the card was unreadable and needed to be initialized. Luckily I was able to pull it out and plug it into another card reader which now allows me to copy data from it. I'm done with this reader. I was lucky not to have had any problems with the reader before. And luckily I seem to be able to get the dates it was trying to eat. OVERHAUL OF THE ORIGINAL CHECK: I sacrificed the card to test again if it could work upside down (which I tried before, but actually forced it this time). I actually had to force the card into the upside down reader to get the card right side up. I hope I didn't damage the card but it seems to be working. I have yet to decide if I will be inserting valuable cards into this reader in the future. I'll probably use for cards that aren't as important as others. OLD REVIEW: I use SD card readers for all my edits. The slot is the right size, but the SD card doesn't fit. I missed my window, I can get it back. I stuck with it. I still love my other Anker products but unfortunately not this one.
