I love this paper. Beautiful tooth (paper texture). I don't use it to make strong strokes with watercolor. I usually use Arches watercolor paper for this. But this paper is great for colored pencils, mineral spirits, and light watercolors. So it's mixed media imposition paper. You can layer pencils very well, but that eats up your pencils, especially soft ones like prisms. But sometimes you need it to get the layering you want. I like that both sides of the tablet, the front and back cover, are made of fairly thick cardboard. This helps protect your paper. I am happy with this purchase, especially for the price. I've heard that their single sheets are even better, but of course a bit more expensive. But you get what you pay for. For the money, this is a worthwhile product, especially for beginners who want to upgrade to better paper without spending a lot of money.
