I've driven a few hundred miles on these Nimbus 22's and they are as good if not better than previous Nimbus versions I've had (latest version was 14). I read many reviews before purchasing this version and honestly it looks like dedicated Nimbus runners have split this version of the shoe 50/50. Some people LOVE them because they are similar or better than previous versions of the Nimbus, others swear the Nimbus shoes have gone downhill since the 17/18 version. I personally have had 3 pairs of Nimbus since my first pair of 11 and they have never let me down. ALWAYS worth the $150 spent and I can usually get a few thousand miles on them before needing replacement. I compared side by side with the increasingly popular Adidas UltraBoosts and this shoe wins for real running. I even switched a friend from Ultraboosts to Nimbus after he tried mine on and walked a lap around the block. The Ultraboosts are very comfortable and have plenty of cushioning underfoot, but they simply lack the support and structure that make the Nimbus a truly brilliant running shoe. I've tried every shoe from Nike, Adidas, Brooks, Saucony and Asics over the past few decades and the Nimbus continues to rule them all. I'm part of the cult now! Keep in mind that since Asics shoes are a real running shoe brand (not a fashion brand), they are custom made for your foot based on your level of pronation.
