Update: 4/2/2019 The fan turns on after 2025 minutes of operation of the inverter. The hum of the fans is loud compared to my 150 watt inverter, even though the fans are the same size. The fan runs for about 34 minutes, stops and restarts depending on the operating environment. Additional information will be updated. March 31, 2019 This Bestek 300w inverter is more than twice the size of my 150w inverter that I am currently using. The size may not be suitable for people who have small sedans or cars. I drive a full-size SUV, so finding a stable spot on the center pillar is a good idea. I can't tell the difference between a sine and non-sine inverter. I mainly used it to charge my phone and batteries while driving. I rarely need it to charge sensitive electronics like a laptop. Four sockets allow me to charge 4 different small electronic devices. I noticed that the fan does not turn on even when the device starts to heat up. I was worried, so I immediately turned off the device. There is no talk of a fan. I was embarrassed that the inverter kept heating up. I need to find out if the fan turns on before I can use it comfortably for any length of time.
