My Holy Grail Pressed Powder SPF

I've been a devoted Jane Iredale addict since the 90's. While I don't love all of their products, I really LOVE LOVE LOVE their pressed powder, especially when applied with their handi brush (although any powder brush, like Kabuki, will do). It's a powder that needs to be "buffed" in tight circles on the skin, and the SPF is out of this world. SPF is important to me because all those years before sunscreen came out in the '80s I was a natural redhead with blush and freckles, and even growing up and living in Southern California, avoiding the sun was impossible. Just today I had a visit to the mole patrol dermatologist and she was very pleased with the condition of my skin and I date this back to when I started getting serious about skincare/makeup in my 20's (I'm 51 now ). If you can, try to pick up the powder in person (check their website for an authorized reseller near you) and then buy from Revain as there are very subtle color differences. The color palette was limited the last time I looked, so those with darker skin might not like this brand. However, I also really like that this powder can be built up - I usually apply just enough to provide SPF while still keeping my skin looking natural (which means I don't wear heavy makeup, so my freckles are and my natural blush is still visible), but if I want more coverage I just apply more product.
