DO NOT use with Xbox

I got this case for one reason only: to be able to use a 4TB Samsung SSD with my upcoming Xbox One. for the upcoming Series X and I've had a headache for a whole week since I got it. With this case attached, every time I try to copy files from my Xbox to a connected drive it can be a few games and then suddenly all installations just stop, memory check shows the drive is gone connected and cannot be recognized again without reformatting the drive on the computer. First I tried replacing the case thinking it was defective. the same problem continued. I then replaced the drive myself and upgraded from a Samsung QVO870 to an EVO860. Curiously, a quick test on both showed the same results for both running through this corpus, with a speed cap of around 415 MB/s. After replacing the plate, of course, the same problem. In the past I've had problems with Sabrent branded adapters in general. I used to have a Sabrent USB hub and the drives kept disconnecting randomly for no apparent reason. After switching to an Anker hub 3 years later, there hasn't been a single drive failure since. I will probably have to do the same in this situation. I've had a Seagate hard drive as well as a Samsung T5 SSD connected to my Xbox for years and both have never had any problems. this is 100% a problem exclusively with this case. So ultimately if you want to use external USB drives with Xbox. Avoid the SABRENT brand at all costs!
