Okay, I'll admit it. I'm a bit of a bed snob. I love quality cotton bedding that washes well, fits perfectly, lasts forever and feels like I'm sleeping in the best 5 star hotel, but isn't worth the equivalent of a mortgage payment. These panels meet all requirements. When I opened the package I was a little disappointed as the fabric was a bit stiff, more like muslin than satin percale. I washed them in lukewarm water with neutral detergent (no fabric softener) and tumble dried on medium speed until almost dry. The fabric has gotten much softer and the sheets fit my king single bed with an adjustable base leaving room for excess as these sheets fit a fairly deep mattress. Slept very well the first night, and the linens were softer and had a nice sheen after several washes (again, no fabric softener!). The top sheet is oversized and the pillowcases fit king size pillows with enough room. Even my spouse agrees this bedding set is a great purchase, so much so that I've just ordered another set. Highly recommended. UPDATE: Received a second set of leaves. Unlike the first set, they were silky smooth straight out of the box. Washed, dried and laid on the bed. It fits nicely, the fabric has a pleasant satin sheen (doesn't shine, but like silk). The first set was white, these are blue and true to color; not turquoise, aqua or turquoise. Keep impressing.
