Review on Intel Core i7-8700K: Unleash the Power of 6 Cores, Turbo Boost up to 4.7GHz – Perfect for LGA1151 300 Series Desktops! by Stanislaw Dwojak ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A high-quality product, the price corresponds to the quality.

With its positives being: Performance - in comparison to the Core i7 4770k that I've used for the last seven years up until now, the performance has greatly improved. This is the case despite the fact that the 4770k has four cores and eight threads, while this system has eight cores. For a while, I was under the impression that the problem lay with the video card; nevertheless, it eventually became clear that the percentage was not to fault. I installed the Noctua NH-D15 air tower, which is healthy as hell, it keeps the temperature - with almost silent operation of the coolers in the system unit (of which there are 5), the temperature of the cores did not rise above 59 degrees when playing GTA 5 for an hour. This was the case despite the fact that there are 5 of them. With these drawbacks: The price is, of course, the most significant disadvantage; however, if you are not an Intel supporter, then you can get a good stone from AMD for the same amount of money; nevertheless, I didn't even consider them, so I can't comment on the quality difference between the two.
