Review on Uniden TCX905 Accessory Handset Charger by Courtney Frostick

Everything is great with this phone (except the issue below). I use it for my TRU-9485-2 phone as an additional handset. I've been using it for almost 4 years now with no problems. Last year I had to replace the batteries in my phones. The only problem I found was that I can't use my phone as a room monitor when placed on the charging dock. I have to turn it off in charging mode and only then can I listen in as a room surveillance receiver. I was going to use it as a room monitor for a child's room at night, but I have to hold the handset off the charger next to me and the batteries run out at some point during the night and it doesn't help. I wish it could be used as a room monitor while actively charging on the docking station. I can still use it as a room monitor source when it's still in the cradle. Only the reception mode on the charging cradle does not work. Strange and bad!
