I was repairing a coolant leak in my 99 Silverado 5.3L V8. I had no visible leaks. I replaced the water pump seals and decided to replace the thermostat o-ring at the same time. My water pump and "old" thermostat. I don't know if that fits the new style, but it was perfect for my application. I am pleased to report that I no longer have a coolant leak. Fel-Pro makes good o-rings and seals. I wouldn't hesitate to use their brand in almost any application. However, I used Delco OEM AC water pump seals. Cheaper devil pros were felt, and similar OEM metal products cost $3 more than OEM. However, in most cases it is better to use Fel-Pro.
