Great thermopile, easy to use with the Adafruit library!

Excellent working thermopile sensor. The Adafruit library is easy to access and takes less than a minute to install and run. Nice that it also offers access to an onboard thermistor to measure ambient (partial) temperature in addition to object temperature via thermopile. Pros

The MLX90614 integrates a low-noise amplifier, a 17-bit ADC and a powerful digital signal processing unit to give the thermometer high accuracy and resolution.
