I didn't know what softness, moisture and curl definition meant until I tried this gel. I didn't know I could have curls on days 3, 4, 5 until I tried this gel. I apply it over the Quiet Calm Curl Control styler. This aloe based gel is incredibly concentrated and spreads easier on wet hair/hands. This keeps my curls free and I don't get a gel bandage after spraying my hair - my curls (3A/3B) stay soft and defined at the same time! I look forward to wash days knowing that this gel is guaranteed to give me shiny, soft, defined curls with minimal frizz. (Disclaimer: I'm not sure how this gel holds up in high humidity summers as I've started using it in the fall when temperatures drop). The aroma has the smell of orange essential oil, light and citrus. I'm so glad I found this gel!
