There are a few things you should know about this watch before making a purchasing decision.1. The kit comes without a power supply, although the instructions include a drawing on the diagram. I checked the product description and it doesn't claim to have it. It was annoying to dig one up from elsewhere in my house as part of a setup.2. The clock is very light and the weight of the cord itself can almost drag it through the bedside table. If you need a lightweight travel watch, this might be a good thing. But I would prefer a heavier weight.3. Clock instructions are key. They could have been written better. But make no mistake, you should save this guide if you ever want to change the settings. The first morning after installation, the alarm worked even though we didn't set it. We have changed advanced settings. The second morning after setting it up, the watch woke me up earlier than expected by turning off the night mode brightness to factory defaults. Then I figured out how to set the night mode start and end time (you have to press M between each hour/minute selection; the instructions don't take that part into account) and everything is fine. Overall I like the look of this watch and I think it would work for our needs, but had I known some other nuances I probably wouldn't have bought it.
