I have 78 long closet light bars and they work great. I just installed a pantry in what used to be a closet. I knew that a long light bar wouldn't work in this situation because all the shelves were the same length. I decided to give them a try because I could place them anywhere I wanted on any shelf in my pantry. I've decided not to put the newest on the bottom shelf with things I rarely use. I went with the latter instead, and since it's magnetic it'll just stick to the side of the tub on the wall for use as a motion-sensing night light in the middle of the night. I'll try it for a couple of nights and if I decide I don't like it I'll put it on the bottom shelf of the pantry. The remote is great, but I just leave it on Auto. I doubt I'll ever use the remote control.
