Review on πŸ“± Google Pixel 4 Unlocked Smartphone - Clearly White - 64GB storage by Timothy Gonzalez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Perfection was so close, but I guess there's always another year.

Leaks and early reviews have left people wondering what's next, and some of the details we missed were disappointing. Google's excuse is that a telephoto lens is more useful than an ultra-wide lens, but stepping into the big league of flagships gives customers the options the market has to offer. In this case, in my opinion, missing out on the wide-angle lens was a huge mistake. That and the surprise of a smaller battery compared to last year's Pixel are the first things I wanted to get rid of. The battery is not as good as expected and I got about 4 hours of screen time in two days. for now. I feel like this is doing Google a huge favor and it's not an apology in any way, but my smaller battery got me thinking that it's probably going to be on my phone for 4 hours and that's why I'm stressed am, it's likely that - something I could improve and adjust my personal time management. General phone use with the camera on and off is certainly doable with the regular Pixel 4. For me, the compromise with a smaller battery but a more manageable housing compared to the XL is worth it. I luckily had an instant wide angle lens that I used on my Pixel 2 and couldn't get rid of it when I got my S10e. I can say with confidence that the usability of the lens on the phone is great, but in the case of the Samsung lens, the quality has dropped from the main lens to the wide-angle, and using a cool lens doesn't decrease the quality or add to that since the moment add distortion to the main lens. The immediate announcement of Pixel 4 support gives me a wide angle and essentially turns my two lenses into the perfect three-lens scenario we've all wished for. I would highly recommend Moment's products and content to anyone interested in photography. Now for the good stuff: the Pixel 4 shines just as I expected and made me want to come back for a Pixel. I switched from a Nexus 6p to a Samsung s8 and a Pixel 2 to a Samsung s10 and missed my Google phone both times. If you value a camera that ALWAYS takes great photos, I don't think there's a better option than the Pixel. A bad photo is harder to take than a GOOD one. The lack of an original quality cloud backup is a bit of a pain in the ass, but you can still back them up in good enough quality considering most people just want to go back and look at their photos on their phones instead of getting a big print out , where amazing quality is required. Google One's price is also reasonable, giving you enough space for original quality backups. Finally, the screen and 90Hz screen are the icing on the cake. When you use your phone, you need to unlock it. So it's really great to have something that makes this process so smooth by waking your phone early on the radar to scan your face. 90 Hz helps on the other side of our everyday usage equation: CONSTANT scrolling. The difference is noticeable and I know I'll get used to it. Like many other things and features, this is one of those little things that tech lovers appreciate and other consumers just don't care about. There is no such thing as a perfect phone, but Pixel has proven to me time and time again that nothing beats their camera and the best Android experience. this is what you get With this year's Pixel 4, you get that, plus a stunning, clean design and finally no fingerprints, an excellent pair of speakers that I don't miss the Pixel 2's front-facing speakers, and some nifty features to satisfy my tech-itch.

Pros
  • Take a photo without flash. Now faster and easier to use, Night Sight can even photograph the Milky Way.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
